What is CuteCast?

CuteCast is bulletin board software created by ArtsCore Studios. We used their product to offer you the bulletin board. So the next time you heard we talk about CuteCast, we meant our bulletin board not your girlfriend.
What is a forum/thread?

A forum is where the discussions on related topics take place. When you enter a forum, you will see the listing of topics.

A thread is another word for a topic. Each thread contains one original message and all replies to that message.

What are announcements?

Announcements are special messages posted by the administrators or moderators. They are designed to be a simple one-way communication with the users. If you wish to discuss announcements, you will have to create a new thread in the forum, since you cannot reply to announcements.
How do I use HTML to my messages?

You can use CuteCode. CuteCode is similar to HTML, but offers just a few basic functions, such as hyperlinking, image display, bolding, italicizing and etc.

Clickable CuteCode allow you to quickly and easily enter CuteCode into your posts and messages. To use them, simply click the appropriate buttons.

How do I use emoticons?

Emoticons are small graphical icons which you can insert into your messages to convey an emotion or feeling.

To use the clickable emoticons, simply click the emoticon that you want to insert into your message, or click the "More" link (if available) to access the full list of emoticons.

On occasions, you may want to prevent the text in your message being converted into emoticons. You will see a checkbox which you can select when you compose your message, which will allow you to "Disable Emoticons".

Can I edit my own posts?

You will be able to edit or delete your own posts. Note that the administrator can disable this ability as she/he desires. Your ability to edit your posts may also be time-limited, depending on how the administrator has set up the board.

To edit or delete your posts, look for the "edit" button on the post to be edited. No one else can edit your posts, except for the administrators and moderators.

If your post was the first in the thread, then deleting the post may result in the removal of the entire thread.

After you have made your modifications, a note is generated at the bottom of each post that is edited so that every one knows when a post has been edited. The note will not appear if the administrators edit your posts.

For security reasons, you may not attach files to any posts. You may cut and paste text into your post, however, or use CuteCode to provide hyperlinks to outside documents.
