Hi,
The demo on the web site did not work for me on the IE6 browser with 1.4 v java plug in. I tried to use the applet code that came with the download and it had the same problem. I tried to tweak the code and comment out sections. Don't know what is causing the problem. Can someone look into this?
Thanks
Murthy

Hello,

I am using IE6 & plugin version jdk 1.4.2 and the demo works fine. There might be some problem with your plugin instalation.
Please try to access the following website & check whether you are able to load the swingset demo example.
http://www.particle.kth.se/~fmi/kurs/PhysicsSimulation/Lectures/07A/Examples/SwingSet/swingSetDemoPlugin.html

Also could you check the java console and send me the messages which you see, when you access demo page.

It seems the demo at quicktable.org is running alright now. However, the applet in samples directory is having problems. The java console won't let me copy and paste the error stack. The error seems to be "access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermissionloadLibrary.ocijdbc9)". I'm using ojdbc14.jar and it is placed in the lib directory along with quicktable2swing11.jar

Thanks
Murthy

I think you are trying to open the applets from the local filesystem. In theory this should work, but usually we get security exceptions. Applet plugin thinks that you are trying to access the local filesystem, even though the whole html page and applet is served from the local file system. Please try to place the applet & html in a webserver and try to access it.
