The DBTable object performs table joins in the same database very well.

How would one perform a join between 2 different databases?

if you want to join tables in different databases, you have to set the sql which can join two different databases.

For example some databases support sql of the type

select * from table1, other_database..table2 where ---

This is the only way for now to join tables in two different databases. If your database doesn't support this, this cannot be done in quicktable.
