swingall.jar file is not neccessary if you are using JDK 1.2 or above, because swing is built in with JDK 1.2 or above. You need swingall.jar only if you use JDK 1.1.x
In your case you don't need swingall.jar then.But there is a bug in the quicktable DOS batch programs and unix shell scripts which run the quicktable samples. They always check whether there is a swingall.jar in the lib directory. If not the program exits.
I'll fix this bug soon, in the mean time, just create any file with the name swingall.jar in the lib directory. That should make it work.
FYI, the swingall.jar won't be available as separate download, instead you have to download JFC, inside which you will find swingall.jar.
