First which version of swing does your Visual age IDE support. Lets say it supports 1.03 version of swing , then you need to have the quicktable1.03 version otherwiseif it supports swing 1.1 you can use 1.1 version.Create a new project. Now import the quicktable jar file into this project. At the end of importing visual age will ask you in which category you want to place this bean, select one of the category and add the bean to that category. Now add a new class to that project which extends from JFrame. Double clcik on the class, this will open the class in a new window. go to "Visual Composition" tab. Now you will see the frame there. Now select the category from the side menu to which you added the quicktable and click on the quikctable bean icon. And then click into the JFrame. This will drop the quicktable into JFrame. Now right click on the quicktable which is dropped inside JFrame and select the "properties" menu. This will open the quikctable properties. At the bottom of the properties window you will see a button named "custom properties" , click on that. That should open up the Quicktable customizer. let me know if you have any problems using the customizer
Ben
