I know this seems like a silly thing, but I am unable to enter an apostrophe ' into my Quick Table cells. When I try to type the apostrophe nothing happens at the cursor. I can type other characters without a problem.

The apostrophe is a problem to many database applications. Is something in the bean catching the apostrophe and not allowing me to type it?

Thanks.

Grace,

Its a good catch, I didn't notice this until today. QuickTable will not have a apostrophe problem, since it uses prepared statements, its just a bug in the Text cell editor. I have fixed this. I will release this to the download area soon.

Thanks for notifying the problem.

Great!

Another odd, but likely related issue, is that normally the table will work well, but once in a while I can not type in miscellaneous characters - for example, in one cell I can't type "q", but in another cell I can. If I refresh the table I can type "q" everywhere.... The character in particular differs each time, with the exception of the apostrophe issue you have corrected.

I look forward to downloading the patch to see if it fixes both of these issues. When it's ready can you let me know where to find patches on your site?

Aside from these issues this is really a very easy to use product. I like the extensive API.

Thanks.
Grace

We have fixed this problem in the new version of QuickTable 2.0.4, please download the latest version from download link.
The issue was only with apostrophe, we are not masking any other characters, so "q" should not be any issue. Make sure you are not trying to enter characters, more than the length of that column.
